GCLI Membership connects educators and researchers with the online learning platforms, professional community, and future opportunities that bring OISC, OISE, and collaborative learning research together.
Membership is a shared point of access.
Membership is designed for the people who create, facilitate, and study international collaborative learning. It supports one GCLI profile across future services rather than separate registrations for each programme.
Access to particular spaces depends on your role and current programme participation. For example, OISC Faculty Advisor access is available to eligible Faculty Advisors, while OISE Partner Finder is intended for approved GCLI account holders.

Supporting Members sustain GCLI's development and are recognised through linked website and event acknowledgements, with opportunities to participate in Professional Community meetings as Supporting Members. Supporting Membership does not by itself include programme-management access.

Application
Apply through Google Forms.
Google Forms is the initial application route because it gives the GCLI team a manageable record of applications and a clear review workflow. A GCLI account is created only after the application has been reviewed.

- 3GCLI reviews the application and confirms the appropriate role and access.

Membership fee: TBA. No fee is requested through the initial application. GCLI may introduce a membership fee in the future; any amount, eligibility criteria, renewal schedule, and payment process will be announced before a fee takes effect.

Who can apply?
Educators, researchers, Faculty Advisors, undergraduate and graduate students, Supporting Members, and others who contribute to GCLI activities or the wider online collaborative learning community.
Does membership automatically grant every access right?
No. Programme access is assigned according to your role, such as an approved OISE participant or an eligible OISC Faculty Advisor.
Will GCLI charge a fee now?
No fee is requested in this initial application. Future membership fees remain TBA and will be announced in advance.
What is Supporting Membership?
Supporting Membership is for individuals or organisations that want to support GCLI's development without necessarily needing programme-management access. Details of recognition and any future contribution are TBA.
What is Student Membership?
Student Membership is for undergraduate and graduate students interested in global collaborative learning. Programme access remains dependent on the relevant role and participation arrangements.
What information will the form collect?
Basic professional contact and affiliation details, your intended GCLI activities, a brief description of your work when relevant for review, and your acknowledgement of the membership and privacy terms.
When will I hear from GCLI?
GCLI aims to contact applicants within approximately one week. If no response arrives after that time, please use the GCLI contact page to follow up.
